Dialogues for our lessons are finished.
The pictures are ready and it's Monday again. But most importantly are you ready for this week's lesson? One couple, one question, multiple complaints, and an unexpected turnover of events. And it all started with the one question What are you doing? "Was machsch?"
Asking questions can be a powerful tool to start a conversation in Swiss German. Without questions, we wouldn't receive the information we need.
Nobody is a mind-readers and the only way to glimpse into someone's mind is through the use of questions. In this lesson, you'll learn how to say and use the question What are you doing? "Was machsch?". Along with that, you'll get to know how to both make complaints and then show support, ending in just the right amount of balance.
Thank you for supporing my work: The members of my course :
Was machsch?
What are you doing? Ich bi am Läse. I'm reading. Du bisch scho wider am Läse? You're reading? Again? Jo, ich bi am Läse. Tue doch nid jammere. I'm reading, don't complain. Ich bi dä wo vil z tue het. I'm the one who has a lot of work. Aber das git e super Sach. This will be a great thing. Loh di lo überrasche. Just wait and see. (let yourself be surprised).
See you tonight. We will talk about the story and practice present tense in Swiss German.
