Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Are you a native speaker of Swiss German?
Q: What dialect do you teach?
A: My mother is from Zurich, father from Luzern. I was brought up bilingually in Fribourg. I had my education in Bern. A lot of my friends come from Bern, Murten and Zurich. I would say I am familiar with many Swiss German dialects.
Q: What do I need to do to have Swiss German lessons with you?
A: All you need is good internet connection, Skype, Hangout or Whatsapp. Also, we will create a simple online document where we will take our notes. After each lesson I look again at our notes and send the student an audio recording of the notes. The main idea of the lesson is to make the students speak as much as possible.
Q: When can I have my conversational Swiss German lessons?
A: We can arrange lessons in the mornings, or evenings. I am not available between 11 and 3 pm Swiss time.
Q: Can we have lessons on Saturdays or Sundays?
A: No. This is time for my family.

A: Learn German first, once you feel confident with German we can practice Swiss German.
Q: Do you also teach conversational French and German?
Q: How long is one lesson?
A: One lesson lasts 45 minutes.
