There is only one past tense in Swiss German, called Perfäkt
It is built like this:
The auxilary verbs Ha or Sii and the Past participle, usually g...t
Usually Perfect is used with the auxilary to have.
Er het sich gfröit
Mir hend vil glacht.
Ihr hend lang Fuessball gschpilt.
Hesch guet gschlafe?
Perfect is created with the verb Sii (to be), when:
- 1. There is any kind of movement from a to b:
Bisch du geschter bim Dokter gsii?
Hüt bin i z Versoix verbiigfahre.
I bi am Sunntig vo Paris heicho.
I bi am Nomittag am vieri z Losann am Bahnhof aacho.
2. There is a changement of state:
D’Ania isch geschter i de Chleider iigschlafe.
De See isch im Winter zuegfrohre.
Ich bi z Afrika gebore.
As you can see in the examples some of the past participles are irregular so you'll have to learn them well.
The positioning of the past participle in a mainsentence is at the end.
